Joe McMahon grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where he graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School before attending Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In 2005, Joe received his law degree from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law, and began serving as the law clerk to the Honorable Joseph C. Madenspacher of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas.
Mike Winters went to law school to help people solve and avoid legal problems. Before beginning his legal career, he was a police officer for six years after graduating magna cum laude from York College of PA in 1986 with bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science.
Shawnee Soto-Ortiz was born and raised in Lancaster County. After graduating from Lampeter-Strasburg High School in 1996, Shawnee spent her freshman and sophomore years of college studying the Thai language at the University of Oregon. She then transferred to the Pennsylvania State University in University Park where she graduated in 2000 with a major in Political Science.
In 2002, Shawnee moved to Boston to attend the New England School of Law. She graduated from law school in 2005 and has worked exclusively since that time as a Family Law Attorney.
Elijah Martinez grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; where she graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School. In 2014, Elijah received her Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, and is currently attending Albright College where she will receive her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to joining McMahon & Winters, Elijah worked at the Lancaster County Office of the Prothonotary. Elijah primarily focuses on serving our family law clients. Elijah is also a Notary Public.
Michele Bish was born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Elizabethtown Area High School in 2001, she attended Central Pennsylvania College majoring in Paralegal Studies. Michele took a break for some years and later returned to Harrisburg Area Community College where she graduated from their Paralegal Studies program and obtained her Associates Degree in 2010. Michele is also a Notary Public.
